This scenic 20-minute helicopter tour will allow you to take in the incredible views of Airlie Beach, Shute Harbour, and it’s surrounding islands and reef systems.

Once we’re aboard our Robinson R44 Helicopter, we’ll depart from Shute Harbour Airport and make our way out to the islands to see The Whitsundays from a birds eye view.

As we cruise above the clear turquoise waters be sure to have a camera as this flight highlights why people come from all over the globe to this beautiful part of Australia.

Itinerary

Fly over Funnel Bay and Airlie Beach.
Fly over Pioneer Bay
Fly over Pioneer Rocks and Almora reef.
Fly over North Molle Island
Fly past Daydream Island.
Fly over South Molle Island
Fly past Mount Rooper.
Fly past Shute Harbour “The Gateway to The Whitsundays”, as well as Shute Reef and White Rock Reef.
Land back at the Whitsunday Airport.
Fly past Long Island

Fly Over: Shute Harbour

As we fly over Shute Harbour, the gateway to The Whitsundays, you’ll be likely to see a ferry or two on their way out to the islands. Additionally, you’ll see some of the smaller reefs, such as Shute Reef, and White Rock Reef

Fly Over: Long Island

As we head towards South Molle Island, we’ll be passing by Long Island. At 9km Long and only 400m at it’s widest, Long Island is the closest of The Whitsundays islands to the mainland.

Fly Over: North and South Molle Islands

Two of the larger and closer islands to Airlie Beach that we’ll be flying over are North and South Molle Islands. Looking east you’ll also get to enjoy some panoramic views of Whitsunday Island and Hook Island.

Fly Over: Airlie Beach

As we head back to The Whitsunday Airport, we’ll be flying over Airlie Beach, and it’s many Marinas and Beaches
